Welcome to Play Therapy on the Wolds
My name is Nicky and I am a PTUK registered Play Therapist providing therapeutic support to children and families in the East Riding of Yorkshire and York.
With 13 years of experience as a primary school teacher and later as a SENDCo, I have developed a solid foundation in understanding children's needs.
My passion for supporting children's mental health led me back to university, where I earned my qualifications initially as a Therapeutic Play Practitioner and later as a fully qualified Play Therapist.
Ethos
I am dedicated to helping children and families build confidence and resilience during challenging times through my therapeutic work in schools and private practice. I believe in the transformative power of play and the importance of finding hope, focusing on growth, and building strength in our relationships. I value the unique qualities and gifts that each individual brings.
